I can create use my art skills to create unique and innovative works of art and design unique products The theme was "changes of wind" and when I thought of wind, sailboats came to mind. I live on Crystal Lake and there is a sailing club right down the road from my house. A lot of times I go down to my dock and sit by the water to watch the different sailboats sail across the lake. One problem I faced was determining what to use to separate the water from the sky. I didn't want the sailboats to look like they were floating in the sky, after thinking for quite a while I decided to ask Mrs. Ruggles and she gave me a few different options to try. To overcome this problem, I used different shapes of blue, so the water and sky didn't blend together. Overall, I think my jar turned out well. I am satisfied with this piece of art and I believe it has a chance of being sold at the auction. Even though I like my jar, I feel as if it needed more detail, but i wasn't quite sure what. I left it the way it was because I didn't want to mess it up since I am satisfied with my piece.
